Ingredients
- 6 potatoes
- 3 hard-cooked eggs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1/2 c. chopped ham
- 1/2 c. bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
Method
- Cook potatoes in boiling water.
- Pare and slice and arrange 1/3 of the slices in a greased baking dish.
- Over the slices of potatoes, place the sliced eggs and sprinkle with salt.
- Cover with half the sour cream.
- Make another layer of potato slices, then one of ham, then cover with rest of the sour cream.
- Finish with a final layer of potatoes.
- Top with the crumbs mixed with melted butter.
- Add the heavy cream.
- Bake in hot oven at 450°
- for 30 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
