Ingredients
- 3 lb. pork butt
- 2 c. water
- 2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/4 c. Hawaiian salt (or coarse sea salt, or kosher salt)
Method
- Pat pork thoroughly with salt and place fat side up in roasting pan or crock pot.
- Combine water with liquid smoke and pour over meat.
- Cover and either roast at 400° for 3 hours or until tender, or slow cook on high for 4-5 hours until pork falls apart.
- Remove from water and shred in serving dish.
