Ingredients
- 2 c. hot water
- 2 oz. instant coffee
- 4 c. sugar
- 1/5 oz. 100 proof vodka
- 1 vanilla bean
Method
- Combine first three ingredients in saucepan.
- Heat until coffee and sugar are dissolved.
- Let cool.
- Add in vodka and the vanilla bean, cut in half.
- Pour mixture into a bottle and close top.
- (Mrs. Butterworth's syrup bottles work well.)
- Place in dark place for 3 weeks, shaking bottle every other day.
- Make at Thanksgiving to be ready for the Christmas season!
