Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground meat
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 pkg. taco season mix
  • 1 (4 oz.) can green chilies
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. Bisquick
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • Lightly brown meat and onions; stir in taco seasoning.
  • Spray a 10-inch pie pan with Pam.
  • Pour mixture into pie pan.
  • Place green chilies over meat.
  • Mix together milk, eggs and Bisquick until very smooth.
  • Pour over meat.
  • Bake at 400° for 25 minutes.
  • Put cheese over cooked pie and let stand until melted or place in oven to melt cheese.
  • Garnish top with lettuce and tomatoes.
