Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning
  • 1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies, drained
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. Bisquick
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded

Method

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Grease pie plate 10 x 1 1/2-inches.
  • Cook and stir beef and onion until brown.
  • Drain.
  • Stir in taco seasoning mix.
  • Spread in pie plate.
  • Beat milk, Bisquick mix and eggs until smooth, 15 seconds in a blender or on high for 1 minute in a mixer.
  • Pour into pie plate.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Top with tomatoes and cheese.
  • Bake 8 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  • Cool 5 minutes.
  • Serve with sour cream, topped with grated cheese.
  • Put green lettuce around edge and tomatoes.
