Ingredients
- 12 hot banana peppers
- 1 green bell pepper
- 6 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 c. yellow vinegar
- 2 pkg. Certo (1 box)
- green or red food coloring
Method
- Clean and remove seeds.
- Put peppers in blender with 1 cup of the vinegar and mix until fine.
- Put pepper mixture into pan with 6 1/2 cups sugar. Add remaining vinegar.
- Cook until boiling and slow boil for 10 minutes. Wipe off skim using wooden spoon.
- Add the Certo and stir.
- Add red or green food coloring.
- Boil 1 minute.
- Put in jars and seal.
