Ingredients

  • small pkg. stew meat
  • 6 to 8 fresh carrots, sliced thin
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can green beans
  • 1 (8 oz.) can peas
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can whole kernel corn
  • 1 very large onion, diced
  • 1 (39 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 small box frozen limas
  • 3 qt. water or more
  • 6 to 8 potatoes, small chunks

Method

  • Put stew meat, onion, carrots, tomatoes and green beans in water and cook until meat is tender.
  • Add potatoes, limas and whole kernel corn.
  • After everything in soup gets done, add peas and let soup simmer for about 1 hour.
