Ingredients
- 34 lb butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups flour, sifted
- 1 tablespoon poppy seed
Method
- Mix butter, sugar, and flour throughly and press into a 9x13-inch pan 1/2-inch thick.
- Sprinkle with poppy seeds.
- Bake in a slow oven (250-275F) until light brown, about an hour.
- Cut, while still warm, into small bars.
