Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
  • 1 stick margarine, softened
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. hot water
  • 3 c. powdered sugar
  • 3 pkg. premelted chocolate

Method

  • Bake cake as directed in
  • jelly roll pan or cookie sheet at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Cool.
  • Mix flour and milk together. Cook until thick and cool completely.
  • Cream sugar, shortening, vanilla and softened margarine together until smooth.
  • Spread on cooled cake and refrigerate for 1 hour.
