- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 5 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
- 1 stick margarine, softened
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 1 egg
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. hot water
- 3 c. powdered sugar
- 3 pkg. premelted chocolate
Method
- Bake cake as directed in
- jelly roll pan or cookie sheet at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool.
- Mix flour and milk together. Cook until thick and cool completely.
- Cream sugar, shortening, vanilla and softened margarine together until smooth.
- Spread on cooled cake and refrigerate for 1 hour.
