Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 pkg. Heath bars
  • 1/4 c. pecan pieces

Method

  • Blend first 4 ingredients.
  • Reserve 1/2 of the mixture for later.
  • To half of the mixture, add the next 4 ingredients and pour into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
  • Mix together Heath bars, pecans and remainder of mixture.
  • Sprinkle over batter already in pan.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
