Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 c. sugar
- 1-2 sleeves saltine crackers
- 12 ounce. chocolate chips
Method
- Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
- Line with single layer of saltine crackers.
- Over medium heat, heat the butter and sugar, stirring constantly.
- Let mix come to a boil and continue to boil for 3 min, stirring constantly.
- Pour over crackers.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min till slightly brown.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
- As they begin to heat, spread with a knife.
- Cold in refrigerator for 1 hour.
- Cut into squares.
