Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. boiling water
- 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1 c. lukewarm water
- 2 eggs, beaten lightly
- 6 c. flour, sifted
- 1 tsp. salt, sifted with flour
Method
- Cream together sugar and shortening.
- Add water.
- Cool.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Cover and place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight.
- Shape into rolls and let rise 2 hours.
- Bake at 325° about 20 minutes or until lightly browned. (This dough may be stored in refrigerator for several days.)
