Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef (preferably chuck)
- 3 or 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 3 or 4 carrots, chopped
- 1 lb. fresh green beans
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 to 3 c. water
- 3 or 4 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 sliced onions
Method
- Lots of vegetables can be added or substituted for those listed. Examples are canned green beans, mixed vegetables, potatoes, mushrooms, etc., but I would go with either all fresh or all canned, not a mixture, except for the sliced onions.
