Ingredients
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1 lb. ground beef or turkey
- 1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 1/2 c. sour cream
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
Method
- Cook onion and garlic in margarine until transparent.
- Brown ground meat.
- Add flour.
- Cook about 5 minutes over low heat.
- Add salt, pepper, mushrooms and cream of mushroom soup.
- Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add sour cream and heat through.
- Serve immediately. Don't boil the sour cream.
- Serve over egg noodles or mashed potatoes.
