Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
  • 1 box elbow macaroni
  • 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
  • 1 can cream mushroom soup
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • salt, pepper, oregano, garlic powder as desired

Method

  • Cook hamburger and drain.
  • Saute onion and pepper, add hamburger, tomatoes and soup; mix well.
  • Cook macaroni; drain and add to hamburger mixture.
  • Put 1/2 of hamburger in casserole dish. Put 4 slices of cheese on top.
  • Add other half of hamburger mixture.
  • Put rest of cheese on top.
  • Put in 350° preheated oven. Bake until cheese is melted.
