Ingredients

  • 1 whole Baguette
  • 4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons Season Salt (such As Lawyrs)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Black Pepper
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 13 cups Olive Oil Mayonnaise (such As Helmans)
  • 1 cup Leafy Lettuce, Any Kind
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes, Halved

Method

  • Slice the baguette into 3/4 slices.
  • Generously brush the olive oil over the top of the slices and sprinkle them with seasoned salt and pepper.
  • Set aside.
  • Fry bacon.
  • Let cool and drain, and then cut into thirds.
  • Heat grill to medium high heat.
  • Put crostinis on, paying constant attention to them because they will burn if you even look away.
  • After 30 seconds, check the bottom; if its nice and toasty, flip and toast the other side for about another 30 seconds.
  • Take toasted crostinis, spread on the mayo and place a piece of bacon on top.
  • Then add the lettuce and finally, the halved tomatoes.
