Ingredients

  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 tsp. grated onion
  • 1/2 lb. or small can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. grated Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 pimento pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped chives
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 cans green beans
  • 1 c. corn flakes

Method

  • Cook onion, mushrooms, green pepper and pimento pepper in butter for 5 minutes.
  • Blend flour, sugar, salt and pepper.
  • Stir in sour cream; heat but do not boil.
  • Stir in beans and cheese. Pour into greased casserole dish and top with corn flakes; dot with butter.
  • Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
