Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped onion
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1 tsp. ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • Cucumber Sauce (recipe follows)

Method

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • Mix meat, eggs, onion, garlic and seasonings in large bowl until well blended.
  • Shape into 1-inch balls.
  • Place meatballs on rack in 15 x 10 x 1-inch jelly roll pan.
  • Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • Serve with Cucumber Sauce.
