Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Crisco or other
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 1/4 c. flour
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. ginger (little more)
Method
- We like these, so double the recipe.
- Chill in refrigerator. Make into balls (about walnut size or smaller).
- Roll in white sugar.
- Place far apart on a cookie pan.
- Cool some before removing them.
- Keep closed in tight container for soft cookies.
