Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine or butter
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3/4 c. hot milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. sugar (granulated)
- pinch of salt
Method
- Combine margarine, Crisco, vanilla, salt and sugar; beat at high speed, adding hot milk gradually until all sugar is melted. Keep milk hot while melting down sugar.
- Refrigerate when done or frost cake immediately.
- Refrigerate cake.
