Ingredients
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. Jell-O gelatin (any flavor)
- 2 c. ice cubes
- 1 (8 3/4 oz.) can fruit cocktail, drained
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 4 oz. Cool Whip
Method
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
- Add ice cubes; stir 3 to 5 minutes.
- Remove unmelted ice.
- Fold 1 cup Cool Whip into 1/2 of gelatin until smooth.
- Pour into 8-inch square pan.
- Chill for about 5 minutes, until set.
- Add fruit to remaining gelatin and spoon over creamy layer.
- Chill until firm.
