Ingredients
- 2 lb. raisins
- 2 lb. currants
- 2 lb. citron
- 1 lb. nuts
- 1 doz. eggs
- 1 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 lb. sugar
- 1 c. wine or grape juice
- 1 c. jelly
- 8 c. flour (self-rising)
- 1 tsp. allspice
Method
- Roll fruit and nuts in flour and add all other ingredients. Bake very slowly at approximately 250° or 300°.
