Ingredients
- 1 (9-inch) pie shell
- 2 c. pears
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. ginger
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. yogurt or sour cream
Method
- Simmer pears until tender in small amount of water; drain. Arrange pears in shell.
- Combine flour, sugar, ginger and yogurt; mix well.
- Pour over pears.
- Combine flour, brown sugar and nutmeg. Cut in butter to make crumbly topping.
- Sprinkle over filling. Bake at 400° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serve warm.
