Ingredients

  • 2 cups Medium Grain Rice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Sunflower Seed Oil
  • 2 cups Water

Method

  • Rinse the rice in warm water. Put in a medium-sized pan. Add the salt and oil, mix well to coat the rice properly. Pour in the water and cook uncovered over high heat until the water boils. Then lower the heat, cover the pan and let the rice simmer for 15-20 minutes until all the water is absorbed. Remove from the heat and let stand for 20 minutes before serving.
  • Serve the rice with fish or poultry. You can also use this recipe to cook fluffy rice for sushi rolls.
