Ingredients

  • 5 medium white potatoes
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 (3 ounce) cream cheese
  • 23 cup sour cream
  • 14 cup milk
  • 34 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 12 teaspoon paprika

Method

  • Slice potatoes thin.
  • Boil in water using 1/2 teaspoon salt until tender.
  • Drain and mash.
  • (May use electric mixer).
  • Add butter, cream cheese, sour cream, milk and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Place mixture in a greased 2 quart casserole dish.
  • Brush top with melted butter and sprinkle with paprika.
  • Bake or refrigerate.
  • If refrigerated, let stand 30 minutes before baking in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
