Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 2 (13 ounce.) cans chicken broth
- 1 or possibly 2 medium onions, minced
- 3 stalks celery, minced
- 1 c. rice or possibly 1 1/2 c.
- 1 teaspoon saffron (threads) or possibly 1/2 teaspoon powdered
- 1 can corn or possibly peas (optional)
Method
- Saute/fry onion and celery in a little extra virgin olive oil till tender.
- Add in grnd beef; cook till browned.
- Stir in rice.
- Add in chicken broth and then stir in the saffron.
- Bring to boil, then cover and reduce heat to simmer till rice absorbs the broth.
- This dish is best cooked in a large skillet.
- When the rise is done, at this point you could add in the corn or possibly peas or possibly any other vegetables depending on your tastes and enjoy!
