Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lasagna pasta
  • 2 jars spaghetti sauce
  • 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 large container cottage cheese

Method

  • Brown and drain ground beef.
  • Spoon a small amount of spaghetti sauce in bottom of a large casserole dish.
  • Place a layer of pasta, a layer of beef and a layer of cottage cheese. Continue to layer in this manner until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of sauce.
  • Cover tightly and bake in a 325° oven until pasta is tender, about 30 to 40 minutes.
  • When pasta is tender, uncover and place a layer of Mozzarella cheese slices on top.
  • Replace in oven until cheese melts.
