Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. barley
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. honey
- 2 tsp. poppy seed
- 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts
Method
- Boil barley in salted water until tender.
- Strain and rinse again with hot water.
- Cool.
- When ready to serve, pour honey, mixed with either poppy seed or nuts (or both) into barley.
