Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1 c. butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 12 oz. chocolate chips
Method
- Combine flour, soda, salt and cocoa.
- Set aside.
- In a large bowl blend sugars.
- Add butter and beat well.
- Then add eggs and vanilla.
- Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.
- Add dry ingredients and chips and blend at low speed until combined.
- Drop dough by tablespoon onto ungreased cookie sheets, 1/2-inch apart. Bake 21 to 23 minutes at 300°.
- Transfer to a cookie rack.
