Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 4 onions, chopped
  • 2 buds garlic
  • 1 large can tomato sauce
  • 1-1/2 tsp vinegar
  • 1-1/2 qts water
  • 1 can chili beans
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper
  • 4 tbsp chili powder
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp All Spice
  • 2 dashes worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Brown beef and onions. Add rest of ingredients.
  • Cook over low flame for 3 hours.
  • Skim off excess fat.
  • Serve over spaghetti.
  • Top with grated cheese and raw chopped onions.
  • Serve with oyster crackers.
