- 3 c. cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 c. minced celery
- juice of 1 small onion (cut onion in half and scrape cut surface with a spoon)
- 1 ripe apple, pared, cored and sliced
- 12 sliced olives
- 1 chopped pimento (small can)
- 1/4 c. salad oil
- 2 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- few grains pepper
- 1 c. mayonnaise dressing
- 2 Tbsp. tomato catsup
Method
- Mix the first 4 ingredients and add the remaining ingredients. Chill in icebox.
- Serve on bed of crisp lettuce.
- This salad is good with cold meat or meat loaf.
