Ingredients

  • 2 c. Bisquick mix
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1/3 c. cold water
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, chopped
  • paprika

Method

  • Combine biscuit mix and water, stirring with a fork until blended.
  • Press mixture in bottom of a lightly greased 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • Bake at 375° for 9 minutes.
  • Cook ground beef, green peppers and onions in a large skillet until meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat.
  • Drain.
  • Stir in tomato sauce and spoon over crust.
