Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • salt
  • 2 calamari
  • 1 tablespoon curry powder
  • 6 3/4 tablespoons white wine
  • water
  • 10 shrimp
  • 1/2 cayenne pepper

Method

  • Add the oil to a skillet on medium heat. Saute the onion, green bell pepper and garlic for about 5 minutes. Add a pinch of salt.
  • Add the calamari and curry powder and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add the wine and allow the alcohol to evaporate, about 5 minutes.
  • Cover with water and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. With 5 minutes to go, add the shrimp and cayenne pepper. Serve with rice.
