- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 onions
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 green bell pepper
- salt
- 2 calamari
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- 6 3/4 tablespoons white wine
- water
- 10 shrimp
- 1/2 cayenne pepper
Method
- Add the oil to a skillet on medium heat. Saute the onion, green bell pepper and garlic for about 5 minutes. Add a pinch of salt.
- Add the calamari and curry powder and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add the wine and allow the alcohol to evaporate, about 5 minutes.
- Cover with water and simmer for 30 to 35 minutes. With 5 minutes to go, add the shrimp and cayenne pepper. Serve with rice.
