Ingredients
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. oleo
- few drops lemon juice
- 1 unbaked pie shell
- 4 c. sliced pears
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Slice oleo and mix until crumbly.
- Sprinkle 1/2 mixture in pie shell.
- Spread sliced pears next.
- Top with rest of sugar and flour mixture.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350° and bake 40 minutes.
- Watch if browning too quickly; cover with foil.
