Ingredients
- 1 (3 lb.) chicken or pieces, cut up
- 1/2 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. butter, melted
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 medium green pepper, cut into strips
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp. thyme
- 1 (40 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Method
- Sprinkle chicken with paprika and salt.
- Brown chicken in butter in a skillet.
- Add remaining ingredients except mushrooms. Simmer until chicken is tender.
- Stir in mushrooms; simmer for 10 minutes.
- Serve with rice.
