Ingredients

  • 1 whole Lemon, Zest And Juice
  • 3 cloves Garlic, Minced
  • 1 Tablespoon Clubhouse Vegetable Seasoning
  • 1/4 cups Olive Oil
  • 1 pound Raw Shrimp, Peeled And Deveined
  • 3/4 boxes Linguine (375g)
  • 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 whole Medium Onion, Diced
  • 1 whole Red Pepper, Diced
  • 1 Tablespoon Roasted Garlic
  • 1 cup Mushrooms, Sliced
  • 1/4 cups Butter
  • 4 Tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 1- 1/2 cup Chicken Stock
  • 3/4 cups Half-and-half Or Cream
  • 1/2 cups Grated Parmesan
  • 1 bunch Fresh Parsley, Chopped
  • Salt And Pepper, to taste

Method

  • 1.
  • In a ziploc bag, combine lemon zest, lemon juice, 3 cloves garlic, vegetable seasoning, 1/4 cup olive oil and shrimp.
  • Let it chill out in the refrigerator and marinate for a couple hours.
  • After it is done marinating, spray some oil on your grill and heat it up.
  • Now pop those shrimp on some skewers and stick them on the grill!
  • Watch them carefully those shrimp will cook fast and theres nothing worse than overcooked shrimp!
  • They are done when they start to turn pink.

  • In a large pot, get some salted water boiling for your linguine noodles!
  • Cook them according to package instructions.
  • Once the noodles are cooked, drain and set aside.
  • 3.
  • In a heavy bottomed pot, saute onions in oil until softened.
  • Add red pepper, roasted garlic and mushrooms and saute til they look yummy.
  • Next add in the butter.
  • After the butter melts, sprinkle in the flour.
  • Let that cook a minute.
  • Slowly add the chicken stock and stir it up.
  • Once that is all stirred up, add the cream and the Parmesan.
  • Let that cook for a minute or two until it starts to thicken and then add the parsley.
  • This would be the time to taste and add salt and pepper to the sauce if needed.
  • Now you can either add the shrimp right into the sauce or you can combine the sauce and pasta together and then stick those yummy shrimp right on top!
