- 2 (10 ounce) packageschopped spinach, defrosted and pressed in a strainer to drain
- 2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese with chives
- 12 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 18 teaspoon nutmeg
- 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 14 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Method
- Combine spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, flour, lemon juice, swiss cheese and seasonings, and beat until blended.
- Place mixture into a buttered shallow porcelain baking dish.
- Combine crumbs, parmesan cheese and melted butter and sprinkle the crumbs over the top.
- Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until heated through.
- Run under the broiler for a few seconds to lightly brown.
