Ingredients

  • 2 (10 ounce) packageschopped spinach, defrosted and pressed in a strainer to drain
  • 2 (3 ounce) packages cream cheese with chives
  • 12 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 cup swiss cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 18 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 14 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 14 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Method

  • Combine spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, flour, lemon juice, swiss cheese and seasonings, and beat until blended.
  • Place mixture into a buttered shallow porcelain baking dish.
  • Combine crumbs, parmesan cheese and melted butter and sprinkle the crumbs over the top.
  • Bake in a 350 degree oven for 25 minutes or until heated through.
  • Run under the broiler for a few seconds to lightly brown.
