Ingredients

  • 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen vegetables
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. celery, chopped
  • 1/2 c. onion, chopped
  • 1 c. flour
  • 4 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 6 c. milk
  • 1 c. cooked ham
  • 3 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. Accent
  • 1 tsp. celery seeds

Method

  • Cook frozen vegetables in water until blended.
  • Melt butter in large pan and fry celery and onion.
  • Add flour and stir until blended.
  • Crush bouillon cubes; add to margarine/flour.
  • Add vegetables, ham, salt, pepper, Accent| and celery seed.
  • Makes 3 quarts.
