Ingredients

  • 3 large crayfish or lobster
  • 150 grams butter
  • 3 clove garlic minced
  • 5 tsp quality fish spice (I use robertsons)
  • 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  • 1 salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Light the braai (BBQ)
  • Cut crayfish or lobster in half, clean and devain
  • Melt butter and mix with garlic
  • Lightly base crayfish or lobster with the butter mix and season with fish spice, only on meat side
  • Place crayfish or lobster on the braai, meat side down for about 4 minutes, depending on the warmth of the coals
  • Turn the crayfish or lobster.
  • Base with the remainder of the butter and season with salt and pepper
  • Grill for about 5 minutes until cooked
  • Add a few drop of lemon juice on the crayfish or lobster and serve
