Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk, beaten
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 ribs celery, chopped
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1/2 pt. half and half
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 lb. fresh crab meat
- 7 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Saute onions and celery in butter until soft.
- Add flour and blend, then add milk and blend.
- Remove from
- heat and add egg yolk, crab meat, salt and pepper (dash) and grated cheese. Place in casserole, top with grated cheese and bake at 325° for 30 minutes.
