Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 c. Kellogg's corn flakes
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil

Method

  • Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar; set aside.
  • Measure corn flakes and milk into large mixing bowl.
  • Stir to combine.
  • Let stand about 2 minutes, or until softened.
  • Add oil and egg; beat well.
  • Add flour mixture, stirring only until combined.
  • Grease pans with 12 muffin cups.
  • Pour batter evenly into them.
  • Bake at 400° for about 20 minutes, or until lightly browned.
  • Serve warm.
