Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Softened Cream Cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Sugar, Plus 1/2 Cup For Topping
  • 2 packages (8 Oz. Package) Refrigerated Crescent Roll Dough
  • 3 Tablespoons Cinnamon
  • 1/4 cups Melted Butter

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, vanilla extract and 1 cup of sugar until blended. In a 9x13 cake pan, unroll 1 package of crescent roll dough into a sheet that covers the bottom of the pan. Spoon and smooth cream cheese mixture over the dough, then unroll the second sheet of dough to cover the top.
  • Mix remaining 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon (you can use between 2-3 tablespoons, I like more to cut the sweetness a little) together. Pour melted butter evenly over top, then sprinkle cinnamon/sugar mixture all over. Bake for 30 minutes and refrigerate until cool, then cut into squares before serving.
