Ingredients

  • 2 loaves fresh white bread
  • 2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. light brown sugar
  • 3 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Trim bread and roll out until thin.
  • Cream the cream cheese, egg yolks and sugar.
  • Spread thinly on the bread.
  • Roll up.
  • Melt butter.
  • In separate bowl mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Dip rolls first in butter then in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  • Place close together on cookie sheet.
  • Freeze.
  • Remove from freezer and slice each roll in half.
  • Put in oven straight from freezer on greased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Makes 8 dozen.
