Ingredients

  • 1 (15 oz.) pkg. Pillsbury All-Ready pie crust
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c. light or dark corn syrup
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 2 Tbsp. oleo, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans

Method

  • Prepare pie crust according to package directions for "filled" one-crust pie, using 9-inch pie pan. Flute as desired. In medium bowl (I use wire whisk), stir eggs (1 at a time), corn syrup, sugar, chocolate, margarine and vanilla until well blended. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie crust-lined pan. Bake in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Makes 1 (9-inch) pie.
