Ingredients
- 1 c. unsifted flour
- 1 c. quick cooking oats
- 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 c. nuts, chopped
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 350° (325° for glass dish).
- In bowl combine flour, oats, brown sugar and butter.
- Mix well.
- Reserving 1/2 cup, press remaining oat mixture on bottom of 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
- Bake 10 minutes.
- Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over crust.
- Sprinkle with nuts and semi-sweet chips.
- Top with remaining oat mixture.
- Press down.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
- Cool.
