Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. flour
  • 6 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 c. each semi-sweet chocolate pieces and coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Method

  • In a large bowl, beat the eggs.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients except pie shell until blended.
  • Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 45 minutes or until golden and set but still moist.
  • Serve slender wedges.
  • Great with a cup of coffee or vanilla ice cream. Serves 10.
