Ingredients
- 3 sticks margarine
- 4 whole eggs
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. plain flour
- 1 (12 oz.) chocolate chips
- 1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Method
- Melt the margarine or butter by room temperature.
- Set aside. Must be room temperature or cooler.
- Beat the eggs until foamy, then mix in the sugar, brown sugar and flour, then blend in melted butter.
- Add the chocolate chips and nuts.
- Fold together in two deep dish uncooked pie crusts.
- Bake 1 hour at 325°.
- Makes 2 pies.
