Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup onion - chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1 large clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin seed
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 cans (11 1/4 oz) chili beef soup
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) tomato soup
  • 1/2 soup can water
  • 1 cup (15 1/2 oz) chili beans (drained)
  • hot cooked rice
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Method

  • Brown beef, onion, green pepper with garlic, chili powder, cumin seed,
  • red pepper, until tender.
  • Stir often.
  • Add remaining ingredients, except rice, and cheese.
  • Simmer 20 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally.
