- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 cup onion - chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 large clove garlic minced
- 2 tablespoon chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin seed
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 cans (11 1/4 oz) chili beef soup
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) tomato soup
- 1/2 soup can water
- 1 cup (15 1/2 oz) chili beans (drained)
- hot cooked rice
- 1 cup shredded cheese
Method
- Brown beef, onion, green pepper with garlic, chili powder, cumin seed,
- red pepper, until tender.
- Stir often.
- Add remaining ingredients, except rice, and cheese.
- Simmer 20 minutes.
- Stir occasionally.
