Ingredients
- 6 to 8 pieces chicken
- 2 1/2 c. rice
- 2 pkg. Lipton Cup-a-Soup (cream of chicken)
- 1 lb. smoked sausage
- 1 onion
- salt and pepper
- 5 1/2 c. water
Method
- Boil chicken; let cool.
- Pick chicken off the bone.
- In a large pot, combine chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, onion, water, sausage (cut in round pieces) and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to a boil; turn on low.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Let stand for 5 minutes.
