Ingredients

  • 3 c. minced chicken
  • 1 c. soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. sweet milk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. minced parsley
  • 2 eggs, beaten separately
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. onion juice
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Let crumbs stand in milk for 10 minutes, then mix with chicken.
  • Add slightly beaten egg yolks, seasonings, butter and parsley.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Beat egg whites and fold in.
  • Bake in buttered pan for 25 minutes in a moderate oven.
  • Garnish with creamed mushrooms, peas or parsley.
  • Makes 5 servings.
